We maintain a list of “key shareable stocks” in our flystocks database.

Key shareable stocks are stocks that other lab members might be interested in using.

These include:

  • balancer stocks
  • effectors (UAS-GFP, LexAOp-Chrimson, etc.)
  • wild type stocks (these are often used on constructing genetic contol genotypes)
  • useful mutations (e.g., norpA mutants, which are blind)
  • especially common or useful Gal4 or LexA lines (e.g., for driving expression panneuronally, or in P1 neurons, or EPG neurons, etc.)

Please keep your list of key shareable stocks up to date.

Consult the Flystocks Database Czar if you have questions.
