All HMS IT support requests need to be initiated by sending an email to itsupport_EQ@hms.harvard.edu or by calling 617-432-2000 (press option 7). Phone support is available during business hours as well as after hours.
Computers needing hands-on IT support can be dropped off and picked up outside the Goldenson 540 IT Office.

HMS IT can obtain discounts on hardware purchases, advise on specs, set up new computers and printers, load site-licensed software onto your computer, and suggest solutions to data management problems. These are also the people to consult for all issues relating to website hosting on the department’s server.
Before ordering software, check first with HMS IT to find out if Harvard has a site license. If you do order software, you can generally get an “educational discount”. One vendor to check is http://www.academicsuperstore.com. You will need to fax a copy of your Harvard ID to them at 512-450-0263.
